Finally, the packing is done. I'm at the airport, enjoying a glass of bourbon and working on relaxing into this experience.

The relief is immense. I get a bit teary thinking about how the path is clearing, and soon "all" I have to do is walk. And walk. And walk.

On, to Chicago, London and Madrid. Then Pamplona and Roncesvalles. The walk begins Thursday.

Bettina! So grateful you are creating this blog! I’m with you all the way! So proud of you!! Here’s a favorite travel quote that your trip inspires me by: “Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” —Anthony Bourdain Love you, and cheering you on!! Shelley
